They said it could not be done!

A conversation during a haircut led to this installation! The salon owner, a well known local personality suggested to Steve our Managing Director that it was impossible to build an open plan conservatory on to his home because the house had piled footings. Steve took up the challenge and they are both highly delighted with the resulting extension to the kitchen. The house was built in an area that had an old archeological dig in the vicinity and therefore the whole estate had piled footings to a depth of over 6 metres. In most cases this means that an extension would also require piling which would add thousands of pounds to the build. Admirals partnership with the local building control enabled its structural engineer to design a steel reinforced raft foundation that proved to be sufficient for the work to be granted approval.
